When a sun runs out of hydrogen for fuel, it starts using helium which produces lithium and this process continues until the sun starts making iron.
Iron is too heavy and the sun can't use it as fuel because of its chemical properties. Iron is what kills stars, what causes them to die and create every single element after iron on the periodic table in a single implosion.
You are made up of 0.0004% iron and a star had to implode for you to be born.
Death is such bullshit.
When you die, your body will return to the earth and the earth will take your body so it can give birth to something new. Out of decay comes life and out of life comes death and out of death comes decay.
You are made of star stuff and someday you will have to give that back to the infinite universe which will go on a lot longer after you've gone and died.
But you won't have truly died, you see. That's the wonderful part about it all. You are a mass of atoms and energy that is constantly transferring photons and particles to everything around you. Every place you have been, every thing you have touched, every breath you have let out is continuing to spread through the world and the solar system and the galaxy and the super cluster and the universe we live in.
It is an accepted fact that electrons are always in motion.
There's this theory for the universe that literally every single electron is actually just one electron weaving through space and time and all the electrons in the entire universe are the exact same one, bumping into each other as it moves so fast and quick through time and space and in all this weaving, it creates what we have. What we touch.
There is also this idea that we never actually touch anything. Because we have so many electrons and photons bouncing off and over and around us at any given time that there will always be space between us and the thing we want, no matter how close we get to it.
Atoms are mostly made of space, actually.
That's something people forget when they think about space that it is literally space. You can go on for billions of miles in some places of the universe and you will never once bump into something.
That's another theory, actually. That if you kept going on and on and on in the universe you would eventually end up in the same place as where you started because there are no directions and space is infinite, and what's more infinite than something with no edges?
Infinity isn't some abstract concept.
It's where we live.
And if we're living infinity then how can we ever actually really truly die?
This is the stuff that keeps me awake at night.
Sincerely,
xx

Normally your science makes me want to scratch my head, or cry, or punch you in the face. Today might be the first time your science made me feel better.
